Excitement is building at the Bull Ring Theatre as our young volunteers have been hard at work throughout the week preparing for our very first production.
From carrying out chairs and hanging curtains to giving the theatre a thorough clean and making sure everything is ready to welcome audiences, the young people behind the Bull Ring Theatre have shown incredible dedication as opening night draws ever closer.
This Friday, the curtain rises on Lovestruck Alley, with doors opening at 6.00pm ahead of a 6.30pm performance. Created by the young people of the Bull Ring Theatre, Lovestruck Alley is a brand new original musical packed with 1980s-inspired music, comedy, romance and plenty of heart. Set in a struggling bowling alley threatened with demolition, the story follows a group of friends who discover that standing together might just be enough to save the place they love. Featuring an original soundtrack, memorable characters and plenty of laughs, it celebrates friendship, community and believing in yourself.
The response from the community has been fantastic. Due to demand, we have increased the number of tickets available, giving even more people the chance to experience this special production. However, with interest continuing to grow, we encourage anyone planning to attend to book as soon as possible before the additional tickets are gone.
This production also marks an important milestone for the Bull Ring Theatre, becoming the first full theatrical production to be staged as part of the new community theatre project at Brading New Town Hall.
We cannot wait to welcome audiences through the doors on Friday evening and share the hard work, creativity and talent of our young performers and production team.
